ACETYL HEXAPEPTIDE 8 is a biomimetic neuropeptide, a muscle contraction blocker. It significantly reduces the activity of facial muscles that contribute to the formation of facial wrinkles. It works on the presynaptic principle: the chain of 6 amino acids of hexapeptide is inserted between two muscle branches, repeating the region of the SNAP25 protein, and prevents the branches from coming into contact, preventing the transmission of the nerve impulse.
VITAMIN A (RETINYL PALMITATE) plays an important role in the normal activity of cell nucleus DNA and mitochondria. Retinol with the help of alcohol dehydrogenase is oxidized in the skin into retinoic acid and contributes to the reduction of age spots. By accelerating the renewal of epidermal cells, it reduces the contact time between keratinocytes and melanocytes and activates the loss of pigment during epidermal maturation. VITAMIN B3 (NIACINAMIDE) is a powerful regulator of cellular metabolism. It increases the synthesis of ceramides and free fatty acids in the epidermis, thus restoring the disturbed lipid barrier and moisture balance in the skin, increasing the skin’s barrier function. It acts as an antioxidant, protecting cell DNA from UV damage. Niacinamide is a derivative of nicotinic acid and is very effective against hyperpigmentation by lightning and evening out skin tone. Niacinamide is a water-soluble form of vitamin B3. It is very effective against acne and post-acne. It has an anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting the activity of 3-5-cAMP-phosphodiesterase, inhibiting the synthesis of triglycerides in sebocytes.
VITAMIN E (TOCOPHEROL) participates in tissue respiration processes, supports the immune system (including skin barrier immunity), protecting the reproduction of immune system cells. It is necessary for the stabilization of biological membranes. By slowing down the process of peroxide lipid formation, it restores their structure and function. It is a powerful antioxidant. Participating in reactions with lipids, it forms a low-energy tocopherol radical, which by itself does not promote prolonged chain reactions with membrane lipids, but can restore its antioxidant properties with other antioxidants, such as vitamin C. It preserves and enhances the effect of vitamin C on the skin, strengthens the hydrolipid mantle and is a natural sunscreen, protecting the skin from UV rays and slowing down the aging process. Vitamin E is an irreplaceable component of eyelash care. It activates the processes of growth and regeneration, affecting the hair follicles and prevents hair breakage by providing antioxidant protection.
VITAMIN C (ASCORBYL GLUCOSIDE) is a stable form of vitamin C with high biological activity. It has a multifunctional effect: it stimulates the synthesis of collagen, has antioxidant protection, prevents the synthesis of melanin, while inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase and dopaquinone – an important substance in the intermediate stage of melanin formation.
GROWTH FACTORS are low molecular weight polypeptides (5-50 kDa) regulating proliferation and differentiation of skin cells. They influence intracellular metabolism and stimulate cell renewal.
